Rash Patel was brought up in South East London. As a child he always wanted to become a dentist. As an adult he has surpassed his dreams, becoming a world renowned dental surgeon and implantologist. Rash has an infectious sense of humour and a tremendous enthusiasm within the dental industry. He is a tutor, mentor and trainer for postgraduate dentists at The Central London PGE Study Group based at University College Hospital. Rash regularly lectures on a wide range of Restorative subjects, including Implant Dentistry internationally as well as at various dental schools and hospitals within the UK.

He is one of the first dentists to be awarded the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. With a reputation for quality and expertise, Dr Rash Patel is recognized by his peers around the world.

Michael was brought up in Yorkshire. He joined the Slade dental Practice & Implant Centre in 1991 and has steadily built up a passion for providing high quality dental treatment. Michael has a strong belief that dental continuing education benefits both the dentist as well as the patient.

He has been deeply involved in furthering his postgraduate education, has lectured internationally including South Africa and Germany. Michael is currently studying towards the diploma in dental health leadership and management and has given several interviews within the media.

Michael is very active within the dental industry and is involved in the organisation and development of postgraduate courses for dentists.

As a caring individual Michael spends some of his free time raising funds for charities. Amongst his many hobbies travelling is one of the top ones and his recent trips have included Austrailia and USA.

Originally a country girl from Norfolk, Maddy moved to Cardiff to train to be a dentist at the University Of Wales College Of Medicine, graduating in 2008. She continued post graduate training within hospital and community settings, before deciding to dedicate her career to general dental practice.

Maddy joined the Slade dental practice and implant centre at the start of 2014. She is currently involved in furthering her post graduate education. She particularly enjoys treating young patients and her gentle and calming personality helps those who are nervous or apprehensive about treatment to relax.

She is also highly interested in the increasing popular field of facial aesthetics and rejuvenation. She is qualified to carry out anti-wrinkle treatment, and is regularly attending courses to enable the practice to offer a wide selection of aesthetic treatments.

Aside from dentistry Maddy enjoys a variety of sports, especially running, horse-riding and socialising with friends and family.

Originally from Lincolnshire, Lisa completed her formal training at the University of London in 2005. A country girl at heart, Lisa enjoys nothing more than to take her dog for long walks and go hiking (even in the rain).

Lisa has an extensive and advanced knowledge of oral hygiene. Lisa is very active within her role as a Registered Dental therapist. She has a very calming nature and a natural ability to help her patients relax during treatment. Combining oral hygiene and dental therapy enables Lisa to carry out specific dental treatments in addition to her oral hygienist duties at The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre.

After qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 1986, Sue originally worked within a few premier dental clinics and the community dental service within South London and Kent.

Sue joined The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre when it first opened in 1989. As well as her management duties within the practice, Sue is an Implant co‐ordinator and is a fully trained implant nurse. Her strong work ethic and focus on delivering a quality standard of professional service ensures that clients receive 100% attention at all times.

Regularly attending continuing education within the industry, Sue has gained a qualification in sedation nursing as well as oral health education. She works hard within the industry trying to improve the standard of dental nursing within the UK and is an examiner for the National Examining Board of dental nurses. Originally from South Yorkshire, Paula Divall may have lost her flat cap and whippet, but she definitely hasn’t lost her northern wit!

After moving to South London to be with her childhood sweetheart (now her husband), Paula began her career in dentistry as a trainee dental nurse in 1989. After practicing in several premier dental clinics within South London, she joined the team at The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre in as head dental receptionist and a highly experienced dental nurse.
Paula regularly attends continuing education courses within the industry, enabling her to gain the sedation qualification and accrue an extensive and advanced knowledge of the dental industry.

Paula is well respected by all members of staff and is very active within her present role as Practice Supervisor, working to maintain and improve the nursing and general standards within the practice.

With her natural ability to help clients relax and feel at ease, and a genuine caring attitude, Paula is an Implant co‐ordinator within the practice and is a fully trained implant nurse. Many of our patients find her communication invaluable in enabling them to be fully informed of their treatment progress and to be able to talk to someone if they have any questions.

Having a thirst for knowledge, Jazz gained her qualification certificate in sedation nursing and is due to attend an dental implant training course shortly.

Originally from Birmingham, Jazz has been living in London for the past 19 years. Her hobbies include music, reading and going for walks in the countryside.

Emma has a wonderful caring attitude to patients and a dedicated attitude to the dental profession. Whilst working at The Slade Dental Practice & Implant Centre, Emma has trained as a dental implant nurse and having completed the foundation in Implantology course, Emma is now a valuable member of our implant team.

With a large appetite for knowledge and learning, Emma has attended many dental courses and has completed her British Red Cross first aid training. Emma has a desire for extreme sports having recently abseiled down the side of Guys tower in London. (not the greatest hobby when you are accident prone!)

Norah set up the dental practice in 1989 with Rash Patel.
